Har hört att man efter sina 90 dagar kan ansöka om förlängt turistvisum som gäller i sex månader. Turkiska ambassaden i stockholm skriver så här:
Residence Period for Swedes visiting Turkey for touristic purposes
14.03.2012
In accordance with the Council of Ministers Decree of February 1, 2012, Swedish citizens who wish to travel to Turkey for touristic purposes are exempt from visa for a period of 90 days in during a total term of 180 days.
However, with a new regulation which has entered into force, Swedish citizens will be able to extend their stay in Turkey after the 90 day period by applying to the Office of the Governor of the city where they reside in Turkey to obtain a touristic residence permit valid for 6 months. This additional 6 month period will start following the expiration of the 90 days touristic visa term, thus enabling the person to stay in Turkey without interruption up to a total of 9 months.
Swedish citizens who entered Turkey prior to the new legislation and had exceeded their exempted period of stay or the given visa duration or the period of their residence permit will be able to benefit from the new regulation after paying the fine for the exceeding period.
All Swedish citizens and especially those who only possess Swedish citizenship are kindly requested to take note of the above procedure.
Är det någon som ansökt om detta och vet hur det fungerar. Vad som krävs?
Tacksam för lite info!
